Testimonials:

'The Early Help training sessions were very engaging. The content was relevant, easy to follow and has improved my confidence when supporting families. I would 100% recommend the training to other professionals.' - Whalley CE Primary School

'With regards networking: I have been able to discuss families with other colleagues who have been able to give me great advice, also listening to colleagues talk about the work they do supporting families has hopefully given me the tools I need if I encounter similar needs in the future. The way the training has been delivered has enabled me to reflect on my own practice in a safe space and helped me to consider other viewpoints. I have also got a great list of resources that I can use, including services which can help families too.' - St Maria Goretti Primary School

Free eLearning: Recognising the difference between domestic abuse and parental conflict.

Course overview:

This popular module is designed for multi-agency practitioners who work with children, adults, or families. It was created in response to questions from the workforce eager to differentiate between parental conflict and domestic abuse. The session explores the terminology used to describe parental conflict and domestic abuse, delves into the concept of coercive control, and highlights the critical differences between these two issues, including the ways in which their behaviours can sometimes overlap. We address the potential confusion and discuss the appropriate actions for practitioners concerned about either situation. Once your request to access the online eLearning has been approved you will receive an automated email with joining instructions, please check your junk/spam folder. The eLearning will take about 45minutes to complete.

To request access to the eLearning please complete this form: Recognising the difference between domestic abuse & parental conflict - elearning request  – Fill in form
