Safeguarding Adults Week 2026 takes place from Monday 16th to Sunday 22nd November.
The theme for Safeguarding Adults Week 2026 is "Every Voice. Every Choice."
Key Focus Areas
- Every Voice. Every Choice: Encourages listening to individuals and respecting their decisions, ensuring safeguarding is preventative and trust-building.
- Making Safeguarding Personal: Prioritizes outcomes that matter to the individual, promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Co-production: Embedding collaboration at every level to design services and support that reduce risk and prevent harm before it occurs.
- Safeguarding is Everyone’s Business: Encourages professional curiosity and shared responsibility across organisations and communities.
Daily Themes: Each day of the week will explore a specific aspect of safeguarding, such as listening to individuals, increasing choice and control, designing safeguarding together, and promoting shared responsibility.
