Train the Trainer session: Serious Youth Violence (SYV) multi-agency training

Following the Joint Targeted Area Inspection (JTAI), an action plan was developed in late 2024 which identified the need for a new multi‑agency training programme on Serious Youth Violence (SYV).

A task and finish group has now successfully designed the content for:

  • Module 1: Basic Awareness
  • Module 2: Early Intervention and Prevention

We are now seeking trainers from across our multi‑agency partnership to deliver these modules to the wider workforce.

This training package has been designed for colleagues across:

  • Police
  • Health
  • Education
  • Local Authority services, including Children’s Social Care

If you have a passion for supporting early intervention, prevention, and improved outcomes for young people, this is a great opportunity to contribute to workforce development across the partnership.
