Tom's Story

Tom is a victim of, and the child of a victim of, domestic abuse.

This training has captured Tom's voice as part of a Domestic Homicide Review undertaken after his mother's death.

During this session we will:

• Share Tom's story and learn what we can from his family's experience.
• Increase knowledge and awareness of key themes of domestic abuse, coercive control, neglect and impact on mental health.
• Consider the impact of trauma from the above on children.

Please note that this course is exclusively available to colleagues within the Lancashire County Council area. Regrettably, if you are based outside of this area, your registration will be cancelled by the LSBU.
