Safeguarding Data Sharing Agreement for Pan-Lancashire partners- Children & Adults

This Lunch and Learn is designed for practitioners, managers, and staff across PAN Lancashire organisations, who need a clear understanding of their information sharing responsibilities.  This brief learning session will focus on the recently updated Information Sharing Agreement which became effective in December 2025. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and one of the key components is sharing information to safeguard adults and children. This session will explore the legal and practical framework that supports confident, lawful information sharing across agencies.

The session will cover:

• The Tier 1 Data Sharing Agreement and how it applies across all Pan‑Lancashire organisations
• Key legislation underpinning information sharing for safeguarding
• Why good information sharing matters
• Common challenges and barriers
• What this means in practice for staff and organisations
