DSL Prevent Training

Hosted by the Lancashire Safeguarding in Education Team, this is a training session aimed at DSL's/Prevent Leads in Education.

The session will be presented by the Lancashire Prevent Team, Leanne Romney and Tim Horibin. The session will have the national and local updates, information on the referral process and guidance on producing risk assessments. Attendance will fulfil the requirement for your statutory prevent training for DSL's every two years.

Training is free of charge for schools with the SLA but a charge will be implemented if the place is not cancelled within 48 hours of the date. 

Date : 5^th February 2027

Times : AM Session: 9.30am – 12pm 

            PM Session: 1pm – 3.30pm 

Location: Savoy Suite, The Exchange, County Hall, Preston.
