A session designed to support professionals in compiling effective and accurate chronologies for safeguarding reviews.
Chronologies play a vital role in understanding the timeline of events in cases involving children and families. This training will help you:
- Understand the significance of chronologies in safeguarding processes such as Rapid Reviews and Domestic Homicide Reviews
- Identify the key elements that should be included in a chronology
- Practise compiling a chronology using a case study and template
- Learn how to analyse and evaluate chronologies for accuracy and completeness
The session includes interactive exercises, group discussion, and practical resources to support your learning.

This training is particularly suited for individuals who are responsible for compiling chronologies within their agencies, as well as those who undertake the analysis of chronologies submitted as part of Case Reviews.
