Adult Safeguarding - Escalation: A Positive Tool training

This session was delivered to support practitioners and partner agencies to respond to safeguarding concerns appropriately, and if faced with challenges in relation to concerns for vulnerable adults with care and support needs what actions can then be taken. It will provide an overview on:

• Understanding safeguarding thresholds;
• Sources of support;
• An overview of Section 42 Enquiries;
• How to escalate issues appropriately through to the Partnership Risk Forum; and
• Safeguarding Adults Reviews.
